Role and delivery
Development of the touch wayfinding software deployed across fifteen tables in shopping centres. A C++ application with libCinder and OpenGL rendering, designed for continuous public use: interactive floor plan, store search, automatic return to the home screen. An unattended public installation raises questions desktop software ignores — what to do when a visitor walks away mid-search, how to stop a touchscreen carrying traces of the previous user, and how to deploy an update across fifteen machines in several cities. The software was built around those three answers.
