Virtual TimeBreak

We Are Tennis by BNP Paribas offered its VIP guests a virtual tennis experience. The Virtual T-Break was born: a “tennis” table descended from Pong, in which the paddles were simply replaced by the players’ own hands, thanks to Leap Motion. The balls flew to the rhythm of the players’ gestures, each free to give them whatever spin, power and direction they wanted with a flick of the hand.

Once the match was over, the opponents could automatically exchange their professional contacts — LinkedIn or Twitter — if they wished. To do so they were invited to sign the table virtually, again through the Leap Motion devices. From an exchange of balls to an exchange of business cards was only one step, and it was a pleasure to take it with this experience.

Small for the players, it was a step of some 10,578 km for the agency, which had to synchronise its work between Paris and Singapore to get the project built.
