THE RECYCLING CORNER — THE DEPOSIT SCHEME OF THE 21ST CENTURY. An interactive recycling station that weighs returned capsules in real time and shows how many other objects can be made from the aluminium they contain — and how much energy that aluminium could go on to produce. A WORLDWIDE ROLL-OUT IN 2021. The concept was first deployed in a pilot boutique in Copenhagen in early 2020.
Nearly 70% of visitors said the AAA Dashboard had changed their view of the brand for the better, so the decision was taken to extend the installation to the main new store openings. By early 2021 more than 40 boutiques were already equipped around the world — Rome, Athens, Dubai, Seoul, New York, Rio de Janeiro, Moscow — and more than 100 others were being rolled out.
