Graphic activism, 12 December 2015 to 27 February 2016. Printnoiz brought together the work of most of the artists involved in the graphzine adventure from the 1970s to today, from engraving to screen printing — a panorama of forty years of independent, undergraphic publishing, made possible by the artists and collectors of these works. What is a graphzine?

The term covers publications with graphic content descended from the fanzine family — magazines made by enthusiasts, produced by amateurs on a precise subject for a community. They are generally free of text and give great room to the image. Most of the time graphzines stand out for their handmade quality, produced entirely and collectively by their makers, from special papers and mixed techniques: photocopy, screen printing, risography or offset.

Collectives are common, and the works answer one another from page to page. Inside, the authors, the year and the number of pages are rarely given. These self-produced creations, sold cheaply, are usually published in small runs of 50 to 1,000 copies. Decoration and interactive installation with the Lazer Quest gallery.
